Eligibility:

To qualify for the raffle, the customer:

1. Must have an existing Tala account; can be either:
   • With an active loan; or
   • With no active loan at the time of the prom
2. Must have an activated Tala Wallet OR must have received an invitation to open a Tala Wallet before and must activate it during the promo period
3. Must fund their Tala Wallet through any of the following options:
   • Cash in at least ₱50 to the Tala Wallet via supported e-wallets & banks; or
   • Take out a loan from Tala and disburse the amount to their Tala Wallet. 

Additional Details:

1. Once a customer completes a loan disbursement or cash in to their Tala Wallet, they will receive an email and push notification the following day to confirm their raffle entry.
2. A customer can have multiple raffle entries but is limited to 1 new raffle entry per day of the promo duration.
3. The following are prohibited from participating in the promo: All employees of Tala Philippines Inc., their advertising agencies, participating entities, any person or entity involved in the event, as well as their relatives/family members up to the third degree of consanguinity or affinity are not eligible to join the promo.
4. The activation of the Tala Wallet is subject to know-your-client (KYC) and fraud detection procedures pursuant to anti-money laundering regulations. If your Tala Wallet application is denied as a result of these procedures, you will not be eligible for the raffle.

Prize Details: 

• Number of Winners:
  • 100 random customers.
  • A customer can only win once.

• Prize per Winner:
  • ₱1,000.00 to be credited to the Tala Wallet.
  • The prize will not be subjected to tax as it does not exceed Php10,000.00.

Determination of Winners:

1. Nov 26, 2023 – The promotion will close at 11:59pm. 
2. Nov 28, 2023 – Tala will pull the list of qualified raffle entries. Winners will be selected through a random draw held in the office of Tala Financing Philippines Inc., and in the presence of a DTI representative  at 9:00am.
3. A total of 100 winners will be chosen. A customer can only win once.
4. Tala will also submit the list of winners to the DTI.

Notification and Announcement of Winners:

1. Nov 30, 2023 – Winners will be posted on Tala’s Facebook page. Winners will also receive email and push notifications via the Tala app. Tala will also notify the winners via registered mail. 
2. Nov 30, 2023 – Winners will receive the prize of ₱1,000 in their Tala Wallet. The winners do not need to do anything to claim and/or redeem the prize as it will be done automatically.

Mechanics:

Through the Tala Wallet, customers can pay a variety of billers. 

To qualify for the promotion, customers must:

1. Have an active Tala Wallet.
2. Deposit money into their Tala Wallet OR have funds in their Tala Wallet.
3. Use their Tala Wallet balance to successfully pay a bill.

Customers who fulfill the requirements of the promotion will receive a cashback of ₱40.00 which will be credited back to their Tala Wallet. 1 cashback per customer only.

Qualified recipients will receive a text message (SMS) in their Tala-registered mobile number, and will receive their cashback within 7 days of completing the required qualifications.

Promo Mechanics

Tala offers a fast, easy, and secure way to help friends and family receive the loans they need.

To qualify for the Promo the Referrer must download the latest version of the Tala app and make a successful referral to a third party, friend or family member (“Invited User”) by following these steps:

1 – Open the Tala app and click the referrals section located at the center of the home screen of the Tala app.

2 – Share your unique Invitation Link or Referral Code through any of the following methods in the Tala app: SMS, Email, Facebook Messenger or any other contact method available on a Referrer’s device.

3 – Select preferred Invited User/s from your contacts list to send your Invitation Link or Referral Code.

4 – Click Send! Your Invited User will receive your unique Referral Code and Invitation Link to download the Tala app from Google Play.

A Tala customer (“Referrer”) will earn a referral bonus of PHP 200 (the “Referral Bonus”) for each successful referral (minimum of PHP 1000 loan) to be applied on the Referrer’s next loan payment. The Promo is open to all Tala customers who signed up with the latest version of the Tala mobile app (“Tala app”). A Tala customer successfully registers with the Tala app by

1. Confirming his or her identity through the one-time password process
2. Setting a password in their Tala app
3. Accepting the privacy permissions through the privacy page Tala app by clicking accept on the privacy notice page.

To earn the Referrals Bonus, the referral must be successful. A successful referral means that the Invited User:

1. Taps the Invitation Link to download and install the Tala app or uses your Referral Code to sign up.
2. The Invited User confirms his identity through the one-time password process, sets the password in their Tala app and accepts Tala’s privacy permissions through the Tala app.
3. The Invited User successfully completes their first loan transaction of at least PHP 1000 by disbursing their  loan. The Invited User must complete their loan application and disburse their loan within the Promo Period for the referral bonus to be credited to the Referrer.
4. If the Invited User’s first loan transaction is below PHP 1000, the referral will be deemed successful once the Invited User grows their loan limit to at least PHP 1000, applies for a loan of at least PHP 1000, and disburses and repays such loan on time. 

The Referrer will be notified via SMS of a successful referral within 24 hours of the completion of an Invited User’s first loan transaction at least PHP 1000 and shall receive the Referral Bonus through their Tala app within 24 hours (or if the Referrer has a loan outstanding, the amount of the Referral Bonus will be automatically applied to the Referrer’s balance).

The Referrer will not be eligible to receive a Referral Bonus if they are not approved for their next loan and/or if the referral to the Invited User is not successful. The Referral Bonus is non-transferable.

The Referral Bonus will not expire and may be applied to any future loan payment of the Referrer even after the expiration of the Promo Period.
