Promo Mechanics

To qualify for the promo, customers must:

1. Have an active loan with Tala.

2. Have the latest version of the Tala app installed on their Tala-registered mobile device (Android).

3. Make a partial or full payment for their active loan using Tala QR within the promo period.

Other details:

4. There is no limit to the number of times a customer can repay for free using Tala QR within the promo period.

5. The waived fee of ₱8 only applies to Tala QR and does not apply to other loan repayment methods such as paying via:
   – Bills payment 
   – Reference number
   – Manual processing in payment centers

How to pay with Tala QR: 
On the Tala app:

1. Go to the app home screen and tap “Make a payment”.

2. Choose “QR code” and save the code to your mobile device. This will be saved to your “photos”, “gallery”, or “downloads” folder.

On your chosen payment app**:

3. Go to the home screen and look for the QR icon or QR payment option.

4. Select “Upload QR”. Note: Make sure that your payment app has permission to access your photos or gallery.

5. Choose to upload your Tala QR, review your payment details, and proceed with payment.

**Customers can repay with Tala QR using any payment app that is authorized to send funds via QR Ph. See the full list here.
