PH Customer FAQs

Credit funded by GoTyme

  1. What does it mean if my credit is funded by GoTyme?

This simply means that the loan amount that Tala offers you will be funded by GoTyme, with GoTyme being the lender on record.

This does not change your Tala experience in any way, meaning:

    • Your application will still be processed by Tala; and
    • The amount you borrow will be transferred by Tala to your preferred cash-out channel.

Since GoTyme will be the lender on record, the details of your account will be shared with the Credit Information Corporation by GoTyme instead of Tala.

  2. What is GoTyme?

GoTyme Bank, Inc. is a digital bank regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. For more information on GoTyme, you may visit their official website at https://www.gotyme.com.ph/. .

  3. Do I need to create an account with GoTyme?

No, you do not need to create a GoTyme account or submit any documents to them.

All your transactions — including account creation, application, ID verification — will be processed through your account on the Tala app.

  4. Will my personal information be shared with GoTyme?

Tala will share your personal information with GoTyme in accordance with Tala’s Privacy Policy.

For more information on how GoTyme may use your data, you may refer to GoTyme’’s Privacy Policy.

  5. Whom should I repay – Tala or GoTyme?

Payments should be made directly to Tala through your Tala app.
This covers partial or full payments and early, on-time, or late payments.

  6. Will GoTyme also be contacting me for reminders and updates on my repayment?

No, GoTyme will not contact you about your Tala repayment.

All reminders, advisories, and communications about the amount you borrowed and its repayment will come from Tala.

This is also a friendly reminder to never disclose your personal information, Tala PIN, and other sensitive data to suspicious accounts who may pretend to be Tala personnel. We will only contact you via the app, push notifications, email (support@talaphilippines.zendesk.com or Hello@ph.tala.co) or our official mobile numbers.

  7. If I have concerns or need help, do I reach out to Tala or GoTyme?

Please contact Tala for help for any concerns about your account or repayment.

As always, we’re happy to assist you with any questions or concerns you might have.

You can do this by providing the details of your concern through gotala.co/help.
