Offer-Matching Program for First-Time Applicants

Tala offers fast, easy, and flexible loans to help you meet your needs. As your trusted financial partner, we are continuously making improvements to extend our services to more Filipinos.

To reach more customers, we will adjust the initial credit limit of first-time applicants to match a higher limit they received from other lending services.

Details: 

  1. Tala customers who applied and got approved for their first loan offer but did not successfully disburse their loan will be invited to the program.

  2. The loan amount to be granted will vary depending on the assessment of the customer’s provided information.

    • Tala will match the offer from select lending services, including but but not limited to:
      • GCash products – GLoan, GCredit, GGives
      • Maya products – Maya Easy Credit, Maya Personal Loan
      • JuanHand
      • Home Credit
      • BillEase


    • These customers will receive their increased limit if they submit their offer within the promo period.


  3. Customers must follow these steps to submit their higher limit offer:

    1. Send the offer via an online webform. The webform will require you to submit certain information, including but not limited to:

      • Tala-registered phone number
      • Proof that their Tala-registered phone number is their registered phone number for the lending service.
      • Proof that they have an offer from the lending service. This offer should not be more than 30 days old from the date they received Tala’s initial notification.


    2. Receive confirmation from Tala on the status of their submission. This process will take 24 to 48 hours. Customers shall be notified of approval via SMS and through their Tala app.

    3. After approval, customers may proceed to disburse their loan through accredited cash out channels. (Customers not done with Tala’s KYC process will have to undergo this step before proceeding with disbursement.)


  4. Customers only have 14 days to submit their higher limit offer starting from when they received Tala’s initial notification.

  5. Tala Philippines reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of the entries and participants and to disqualify any entry that is not in accordance with the mechanics. Any incomplete responses will be deemed invalid.

  6. All customer concerns may be addressed by reaching us through gotala.co/help. Promo runs from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025. Per DTI Fair Trade Permit No. FTEB-XXXXXX Series of 2024.
