Tala Credit funded by Maya

  1. What does it mean if my credit is funded by Maya?

This simply means that the amount that Tala offers you will be funded by Maya, with Maya being the lender on record.

This does not change your Tala experience in any way, meaning:

  • Your application will be still processed by Tala

  • The amount you borrow will be transferred by Tala to your preferred cash-out channel; and

  • The amount you borrow will be subject to the same fees:

  • Borrowing period: 15 to 61 days

  • Processing fee: 3.99% of Borrowed Amount

  • Daily Service fee: 0.43% per day of Borrowed Amount

  • Late fee: 5% of borrowed amount

Since Maya will be the lender on record, the details of your account will be shared with the Credit Information Corporation by Maya instead of Tala.
