Starting a new job can be overwhelming, but Regine Verzon, People Operations Specialist at Tala Philippines, shared that her first week felt nothing short of special.
From day one, she felt welcomed and supported, thanks to the People team, Dan, Shara, and Mia, who ensured a smooth and personalized onboarding experience. Regine mentioned that meeting the Executives and the Marketing team during a shoot was a highlight of her week and set the tone for the energy and collaboration she would experience at Tala.
She shared that each day brought something new, getting to know her teammates, learning the tools, and embracing exciting challenges. More than anything, Regine emphasized the warm and inclusive culture at Tala, making her feel like she’s part of something bigger.

“What unites us is our mission to unleash the economic power of the global majority,” Missy said. Even in challenging moments, hearing stories of customers starting businesses, buying homes, or funding their children’s education reminds her why the work is worth it. “These stories inspire us to keep going.”
