Tala Rewards

At Tala, we’re committed to providing you with financial access, flexibility, and control. 

As your partner, we want to see you succeed, that’s why we reward you whenever you make healthy financial decisions. For example, when you repay Tala on time, you’re guaranteed to be able to borrow again, and when you repay early, you can save on service fees.

With the new Tala Rewards Program, we’re giving you even more benefits! When you regularly repay on time, you’ll earn points which you can use to redeem rewards at partner establishments like Jollibee, The SM Store, Mercury, Meralco, and many more!

Signing Up

Signing up is easy:

  1. Ensure you have the latest version of the Tala app and log in.
  2. On the upper right part of your home screen, tap the star icon.
  3. Tap “View Rewards” and you’ll automatically be enrolled to the program

If you received an invitation via email, push notification, or a text message, that means you’re one of the lucky customers who are eligible to experience the Tala Rewards Program first.

There are no additional requirements that need to be submitted for you to join.

After you opt in to the Tala Rewards Program, you will be enrolled instantly. We will also send you confirmation through email, push notification, and text.

Earning Points

Once you’re enrolled to the Rewards Program, you can start earning points whenever you repay Tala.

We are continuously working on expanding the list of activities that will allow you to earn points and we will inform you when these are available.

To see the number of points that you can get when you complete an activity:

  • Log in to your Tala app.
  • Go to the Rewards page by tapping on the star icon on the upper right part of the home screen, and view the list of activities and their corresponding points.

Please expect points to be reflected on the Rewards screen of your Tala app within 24 hours.

No, your points will not expire. You can use them as soon as you reach the minimum number of points required to redeem a reward, or you can wait and save them so that you can redeem a reward of bigger value in the future.

Redeeming Rewards

Using your points to claim a reward is simple:

  1. Log in to your Tala app.
  2. On the upper right part of your home screen, tap the star icon ().
  3. Under “Featured Rewards”, scroll through available options or click “View All” to see the full list.
  4. Choose a reward you like, and you’ll see the number of points that’s required to redeem it. 
  5. Tap “Redeem” if you want to proceed, and we’ll send you an email with vouchers and instructions on how to use it within 48 hours.

You may choose to redeem e-vouchers up to maximum of ₱5,000 pesos from the following: 

  • Food: Jollibee, Red Ribbon, Mang Inasal, KFC
  • Groceries: Puregold, Robinsons Supermarket, 7-Eleven, 
  • Utilities: Meralco, Globe Prepaid, Smart Prepaid, Mercury
  • Shopping: The SM Store, Shopee

Yes, you can redeem multiple rewards as long as you have enough points. Please note that redemption of the same exact reward is limited to 1x per week only.

For example: If you redeemed a ₱250 Jollibee voucher today, you can choose to redeem it again after 7 days.

Rewards points currently cannot be used to repay Tala. We are working to expand the list of rewards that are available so check back regularly for new additions. We will also send you notifications when new, exciting rewards are added.
